Saso One-Day HSPT® Review
For 8th graders

The One-Day HSPT® Review is a full day class that covers all five sections of the HSPT® – Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Math and Language.

Students are taught core concepts and then are given worksheets with sample problems, followed by a practice test. We begin with the Verbal section and give students three worksheets with problems like those found in this section. This is followed by a practice Verbal test. Next we move on to the Quantitative section and follow the same format: instruction, worksheets and a practice test. In this way we work through the entire HSPT® through the course of the day.

One important aspect of the HSPT® is the timing and this is a particular focus of the class. The teacher will pace students throughout the practice tests, telling them what number they should be on in order to finish the test in the time allotted.

Because the class is not an in-depth tutorial, the One-Day HSPT® Review is generally recommended for more advanced students, students who have done some HSPT® prep work on their own, or for students who have previously taken a Saso HSPT® Prep Class.

In the One-Day HSPT® Review students will:
  • Take model exams in all 5 areas of the HSPT®
  • Learn time-management strategies
  • Strengthen test-taking skills
  • Build self-confidence for the HSPT®
  • Be prepared by knowing exactly what to expect

Tuition: $249 ($80 non-refundable).
